SWAMPED!

Long time no blog, eh? I have been very, very busy. Good busy, but nonetheless, busy. Work is CRAZY! I am managing two projects and working lots of overtime (thank God I am still hourly!). Today we had two 3-hour back-to-back sessions with Brownie scouts for their Architecture badges, which while tons of fun, was exhausting. I love working with the Girl Scouts - they are so cute and just a hoot. They design elevators to take you up the monkey bars, hot tubs in every room, and seven-story closets. One kid had a panic room in her design today, which was a little weird.

And then there's the ARE. Which I am still studying for. But I might have to wait and take it in the new version because NCARB is taking FOREVER to process my paperwork. Which is apparently the norm. Oh well.

In the middle of everything, yes, I am still knitting. No new knitting to report, really. I am still working on the crossover rib socks. I am on the second sock and just turned the heel this past week at SnB. No photos. Maybe tomorrow. Or maybe when I'm done with them. I also nursed a massive migraine for the past 24 hours, so I'm not in the mood to do anything I don't really feel like doing. So, I'm off to watch the local news, which is always a treat.
